THE RENAISSANCE OF DEATH

THE  RENAISSANCE  OF DEATH

“I’m not the first and not the last to be fascinated by the life and death concept. But when I started to think about this work I was drawn equally to the desire and the will to live as well as to the appeal of the death.
I think the art is the only place where I don’t have fear of death’ I find it to be very beautiful and elegant.
In this work I tried to create visual and fashionable interactions between life and death without making a statement of who wins, because I think that this issue is above all human comprehension.
In terms of fashion I wanted to create a world of synthesis between everyday fashion, clothes that we can purchase in stores. And high fashion on the other hand, items that were designed as an art, an unwearable pieces. This is in my opinion, what represents the gap between life and death.”
