BELA BALOG | DECONSTRUCTIVISM & FUTURISM
Bela Balog was born in 1970 and lives and works in Budapest, Hungary.
Balog considers himself primarily a digital artist of deconstructivism and futurism by mixing many architectural elements into his digital works. These create a sense of chaotic structure, increasing the dynamism of the work. The recognizable figures are silhouettes that draw the audience to decipher these images.
A solid visual language throughout the artwork allows these pieces to be read as a timeline. Within each work, multiple scenes are layered into each other, showcasing a passage of time that is expanded upon as we look throughout the entire series.
