Bella Yanbo Huang is a highly accomplished contemporary artist and fashion designer with an impressive career spanning over 25 years in the international art world. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Art and Design from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, which showcases her dedication to her craft and academic excellence.
Huang has received numerous prestigious international awards and recognitions throughout her career, underscoring her remarkable talent and creativity. In 1997 and 1998, she was honored as one of the top 40 most talented and creative designers/artists in the world at the Fairfield Fashion Show. Additionally, she was named a Gold Medalist Educator by the Scholastic Art and Writing Award in 2017 and 2018, highlighting her contributions to art education.

Her achievements continue to be recognized, as evidenced by her receipt of the “Achievement for Best Artistic Innovation Award” from the American Asian Arts in 2023. As a fashion designer, Huang was honored as the Grand Finale at the London Fashion Show in 2023, a testament to her impact on the fashion industry.
In 2024, Huang’s success persisted as she was recognized as the Grand Finale at the Rome International Fashion Show and honored as a Special Artist at the Milan Fashion Show, cementing her status as a prominent figure in both the art and fashion realms.

Throughout her teaching career, Bella has consistently trained students who have achieved the highest accolades, including multiple gold and silver medals in the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Notably, her students have received the U.S. Presidential Scholars Award and the highest honors in the National PTA Reflections Art Competition. Furthermore, Bella’s students have earned numerous gold and silver keys in the highly competitive Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition each year.
