Bernard Galane | A Surreal World
“Those who commit to nothing are distracted by everything.” – Bhagavad Gita
Bernard Galane is a highly talented fine artist who specializes in oil painting.
His family background has profoundly influenced his artistic journey, as his great-grandfather was the renowned Austrian fresco and landscape painter Fritz Papke. Bernard’s passion for art emerged at a young age, and during his teenage years, he drew inspiration from the surrealistic works of master artists Ernst Fuchs and Salvador Dali.
In addition, he found a deep appreciation for the human figure paintings of the great Renaissance masters.
Bernard has a strong affinity for fusing traditional painting styles with surrealistic elements. He aims to create pieces that deeply resonate with viewers and inspire personal reflection. His primary objective is to evoke healing and introspection through his art. During the creative process, Bernard seeks out a “soundtrack” that aligns with the energy of the artwork, aiming to infuse musical influence into his paintings.
Many of his works hold spiritual significance, and he often discovers inspiration for his ideas before falling asleep or waking up.
Immersing himself in the vibrant arts community of LA, Bernard honed his acting prowess at the New Collective Acting Studio. He set his sights on more dramatic roles in tandem with his musical pursuits.
In addition to his musical and acting achievements, Bernard is an accomplished fine artist. He has showcased his work in numerous esteemed European and American art exhibitions.
