Born in 1948 in the USA, Maryland artist Carol Carpenter has pursued an extensive art career in painting with
a devotion to teaching art.
A graduate of Antioch University with a dual major in Art and Psychology, she paints in Abstract Expressionism style. She has exhibited her paintings in solo and collective exhibitions worldwide and received international awards for her talent.

She is an intuitive painter inspired by the ever-changing elements and beauty in nature.
She enjoys abstracting and redefining forms to create new images that strike a balance between imagination and reality. Employing multi-media techniques in oil, acrylic, ink, and watercolor paint on various surfaces, she uses color as her primary focus to transmit energy, meaning, and emotion in her compositions.
