Charming Spots Around The World
G-Rough Boutique Hotel
by Lital Maro
Rome is a city that needs no introduction. It is the city which the Roman’s defined as the eternal city and has more than a story or two to share. And in the mix of history, art and fashion, I discovered a pair of entrepreneurs from the art and hospitality industry who joined forces to create a beautiful hotel, which combine together historical elements, design and art in the most sophisticated way. Located in the 17th-century building, Hotel
G -Rough spread over 5 floors and it can be characterized as luxurious yet homy.
Twenty Italian artists chosen to decorate the walls of the hotel, as well as furniture makers, icons whose creations scattered throughout the property.
All suites maintained the typical character of Roman apartment, characterized by
a wooden floor, wooden beams and exposed walls alongside contemporary bathroom sparkling tiles. Hotel room numbers we have accustomed do not exist here, instead, Each room got the name of its designer whose figure illustrated on the key.
Definitely BIG LIKE!
Hotel Rome G-Rough is an authentic trademark of luxury and design.
This is the essence of the new project designed by Emanuele Garosci who, along with Gabriele Salini, who conceived the ambitious 5 star hotel that aims to redefine the very concept of hospitality.
To provide its customers with an unrepeatable stay is its ultimate goal. That is precisely the same and shared ideal of PalazzinaG in Venice: two hotels offering real luxury and the finest suites.
Located near Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s famous landmark square and Italy’s most sought-after outdoor meeting point, this evocative 5-star design hotel is an excellent base to fully discover the inner characteristics of Rome and its local culture.
Pioneer stylistic selections characterize the hotel’s avant-guard fashion, which pay homage to the boldness of artists such as Ico Parisi, Giò Ponti, Silvio Cavatorta, Venini and Seguso just to name a few renowned designers and historical brands.
An ancient yet modern ambience provides
a memorable experience to guests staying in unique suites and apartments that are almost like art museums.
