ELIDEA | COALESCE

Elidea is a contemporary artist, born in Milano, Italy, and based in Miami. Her Art is a multilayer work with hidden details; her technique evolved from classic photos into mixed media collage creations using paper, golden/bronze leaf, acrylic colors, and charcoal. Cutting, pasting, and overlaying allows her to create her unique vision, often surrealistic and full of stimulus.

The women’s portraits are part of her ongoing project ‘COALESCE’ in collaboration with the fashion photographer Raoul Beltrame, New York.
COALESCE definition: come together and form one mass or whole. COALESCE is the fusion of a creative world created by photography, collage, painting, and fine gold and bronze details.
COALESCE is the birth, the destruction, and the new life of a body, a texture, a human figure, a look.
COALESCE is a series of artworks dedicated to the women’s body’s fragility, enchantment, and strength.

During Art Basel 2018 in Miami, Elidea was awarded the prestigious ‘BEST RISING ARTIST EXHIBITOR.’ During Art Basel 2019 in Miami, she was awarded as ‘SPOTLIGHT ARTIST’ from Spectrum International Art Fair.
Elidea was selected for collaboration with iconic whiskey brand Bulleit®
to the Frontiers Works Project 2019 during Art Basel week. She created for the brand six original works of Art in Bulleit@ Bottles as well as one original hand-painted mural.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous Italian art galleries between Milano and Venice and several art exhibitions in the USA, including Art Basel and New York.
