ABOUT | Childhood Dreams
“During childhood, the world is viewed through the lens of innocence, and dreams are fashioned from the raw material of imagination. It is a time marked by unbridled curiosity and the conviction that anything is achievable. In the rich tapestry of youth, dreams serve as the vibrant hues that sketch a picture of an unfolding future. As children, we nurture dreams that often seem whimsical to the practical eyes of adulthood. These dreams are not bound by the constraints of reality; instead, they soar on the wings of hope and potential. Whether it’s aspiring to venture into the cosmos as an astronaut or picturing oneself as a courageous hero saving the day, childhood dreams embody the purest form of ambition.”

ABOUT | AN ANGEL COMES TO BABYLON
The diversity of human society and the richness of individual experiences have always inspired artists and writers to express their thoughts and feelings about the events unfolding in the world around them. Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s play “An Angel Comes to Babylon” and Igor Eugen Prokop’s “Painting” both critique and observe society, power, and human behavior.
The painting created by Prokop carries this allegorical meaning. The painting’s size, colors, and details all contain a kind of metaphor for society and politics. Through the acrylic painting, we see the world from a new perspective, where the depicted world unfolds before us through the visual elements and symbols. The biological structure it builds can symbolize the complexity of society, the network of relationships, and the tensions or balances between individual parts.
