MAULER IRINA | A WORLD OF POETRY, MUSIC, AND ART
Irina Mauler is an Israeli – based artist, poet, author, and performer of her own songs. Having previously lived in Moscow, she relocated to Israel in 1990. She is a member of the Israeli Painters Union, the Writers’ Union of Moscow, and the Writers’ Union of Israel.
Her strong passion for both fields, art, and poetry, led her to the most respectable international achievements, including awards for her unique artistic style from the Venice Prize “Canaletto” in 2016 and the Velazquez art award in 2019 for his contribution to the visual arts.
It is not uncommon that poetry hints at sources of figurative thinking that are reflected on canvas with oil; Her art reflects the gentleness and liveness of the figures coming to life both in her poetry and paintings, expressed by colorful and emotional scenes.
In the literature field, Mauler has been awarded for her contribution to the development of modern literature by the Russian Union of Writers, nominee for the national literary award “Poet of the Year, 21”, and Laureate of the National Poetry Prize, David Samoilov’s award medal “Fyodor Dostoevsky 200 years”, numerous diplomas of international festivals of poetry and author’s song. In addition, Mauler is the author of many journal publications and six collections of poems, including the collection “Middle Eastern Time” (2012) and “Moment of Speech” (2018, Moscow, publishing house “Vremya”).
