“I deconstruct rays of sunlight and follow them as they slide down on objects enwrapping them in a colorful palette. I try to emulate reality, not as it is but as I see it and with the colors I perceive.
I work on capturing a moment that keeps evolving with subjective synthesis, poetics, emoting, and inspiration. Then, basing everything on my own perspective, I tend to round the concept out by bringing in four omnipresent elements; object, space, light, and color.
Introducing intense unblended primary colors of alcohol ink (mixing with other painting media), stroke after stroke, point to point, leads to silhouette obfuscation and its eventual fading. The contour begins to disappear, and the line is blurred. The technique yields an impression of light and shadow; the objects are left beaming with life, and the painting gives off an impression of chaos with its short strokes. Overlapping, shadowing, and color perspective create mass and space while the setting is limitless.”
