Petra Mwaro | Beauty Storytellers
“I can completely unleash my creativity in the process of making fine art. Every detail has to be right; styling and composition are essential. But as much as it is me creating the storyline, once it’s finished, everyone gets to create their own story”.
“The winter months are hard for me. I greatly enjoy withdrawing and letting the world pass by. (I think I could very well become a hermit, too). When it is late March, the sun starts shining, literally and figurally”.
Petra Mwaro (57) spent her formative years in the Netherlands, where her passion for visual storytelling and creative expression first took root.
From an early age, Petra’s unique perspective allowed her to see the world through the lens of a camera, and this affinity for capturing compelling images has been a constant theme in her life.
Petra’s journey led her to pursue a career in Visual Merchandising and Marketing with a leading multinational fashion retailer, where she honed her skills in creating captivating imagery for over 25 years. Whether she was curating product displays or spearheading innovative marketing campaigns, photography remained at the heart of her work.
