The Slovak artist Petra Štefanková is an accomplished painter, illustrator, and designer who has left an indelible mark on the global creative scene. With a background in graphic design and film and TV graphics from prestigious institutions in Bratislava, Prague, and London, she has brought her unique vision to various artistic mediums.
She is not only a prolific author of books but has also created captivating short animations. Her published works such as “Moje malé More,” “Don’t Take My Dreams From Me,” and “Čmáranica a Machuľa” have garnered widespread acclaim. Petra Štefanková’s talent has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Channel 4’s 4Talent Award 2007 in the United Kingdom, The Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic Award 2019, and the American Illustration 42 in New York.
Štefanková is also a distinguished Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London.
