Pintor Nicolas is, by nature, an artist knight, a warrior, with a youthful passion for trying to fulfill his destiny. Since childhood, he had dreamed of traveling and discovering the real world outside of his calm European life. He had dreamed of exploration of Africa, which, to him, is a magical continent that attracts romantic exoticism. Africa has since become the main subject of his research.

Nicolas was born in Spain and spent his childhood Murcia, where he had received his education as a qualified fine art and construction technician.
He describes himself as a warm, simple man. Nicolas is known for being highly charismatic, talented, hardworking, and passionate about art. He always liked painting and drawing, yet his dream of practicing art had had to wait almost 20 years to be achieved.
Nicolas began his professional artistic career after a journey of several occupations. He used to have his own large construction company with a large number of employees under his supervision and had also spent his time as a restaurateur at the famous Puerta de Sol in Madrid. He began painting in his free time.
During his professional career, Nicolas had showcased his art individual and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally (Murcia, Granada, Madrid, Paris, Moscow), and had also participated in international painting competitions.

Painter Nicolas found in art a place of refuge and personal encounter. He always tries his best to create a strong and resounding plastic solution, with enough expressive force.
His intention in art is to express thoughts and emotions, make people reflect and think about the consequences of our actions. That’s why he calls his creations “art with a social impact”. He believes that art is a potential tool for social change.
The themes of the works that inspire him are related to the protection of the environment, respect for animals, the fight against gender violence, immigration and the fragility of life in general.
He attacks the work, using his imagination, combining colors and shapes in an unexpected and absolutely uncontrolled way, that allows him to create a unique and special multidimensional world, where his paintings inspire thoughts, emotions, and reflection.
Nicolas refers to his artwork as ‘eclectic’, because he combines abstract and realistic styles with cubist and minimalist elements. His recent artworks combine sculpture and oil paintings, using precious Ámbar stones, coffee, and golden leafs. This is a unique and very particular technique that defines his style.
He often uses pixel vectors and an abstract pixel background. Thick pixel brush strokes of rectangular or circular shape reflect the power of shape, shadow, and light.
To Pintor Nicolas, life is a struggle between good and evil, as well as a struggle with oneself for self-improvement, the struggle to achieve one’s objectives. The fundamental core leading him is to find the meaning of everything you do: then you find the meaning of your life, that is what motivates you.
From the beginning of his career, he was always committed to solidarity projects (environment and the situation of the most disadvantaged people). Nicolas is in love with nature, especially the sea and its inhabitants. He used to teach painting to children who lack basic resources.
He has been to Africa many times, not only as
a traveler, but also as the leader of expeditions. They crossed the desert, studied the tribes, painted landscapes and also created irrigation systems and wells in Mali. His travels completely changed his vision of the world and perception of reality.
