Rajaa Sertin, was born in Lebanon and currently lives in Dubai. In the series of landscapes, the abstract artist, inspired by the world around her, creates an interplay between large scales, colorful elements, and lines in her studio. She quotes: “Art is an evolutionary act; it has no restrictions, and it is limited by the artist’s ability,” and describes her work as studies based on artistic experimentation. Sertin highlights the fascination with colors, elements, and composition. Abstract art allows her to break with visual recognition, the freedom of expression, and the creation of a different perception. She has exhibited in the Middle East and Europe.
