ROHIT RATTAN | WHAT I SEE
A CURATED COMPILATION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC VISIONS THAT HOPEFULLY FUELS A PROFOUND AND EMOTIONAL CONNECTION RELATABLE IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE FROM YOUR OWN PASSAGE OF LIFE.

His fine art photography has been published in many international photography publications and was exhibited in exhibitions, including at the Public Space in St. Petersburg, Russia, and at the ‘Silence’ Shades Of Minimalism in august 2021.
Rattan was awarded internationally with the IPA International Photography Awards in 2021, the MIFA Moscow International Photo Awards in 2021, and the APA Annual Photography Awards in 2021, among others.
“As Fine Art Photographer based in Dubai, my work plays in contrast to induce a surreal and minimalistic world that surrounds us with a large portion of negative space to get people to see the power of photography and what remains unseen in this world of digital saturation.
The lack of color and the prominence of light reveal the acute synthesis of thought and image pursued by me. Minimal manipulation is used to strip the simplicity of the composition from external elements obtained by combining balance, inspiration, and construction of the image.
My photography reflects an interest in varied forms of art and their endless variations, subjects created in my mind by absorbing the landscape and leaving in it the image of what my soul brings together.
At the same time, the absence of colors accentuates the expressive power of the image itself, whose interpretation becomes a medium of subtle yet artistic expression of solitude.” – Rohit Rattan
