Xavier Ponce, a talented photographer hailing from Quito, Ecuador, delved into the world of photography in the mid-90s when he acquired his first SLR camera. His journey began as he set up a makeshift darkroom in his bathroom, where he developed a deep passion for the art of creating photos—a calling that would profoundly influence his artistic trajectory.
Three years ago, Xavier boldly decided to elevate his photography skills.
He established a strong presence on social media and bravely entered international awards and competitions. Surprisingly, he garnered recognition and accolades despite his relatively short presence in the global photography scene.
