EDSON CAMPOS | Beauty is essential to the well-being of the soul
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Edson Campos has enjoyed sketching and painting since childhood. His curiosity for other lands and cultures has taken him on a journey of discovery and appreciation for the Arts. His career began as a self-taught artist, creating Art illustrations for children’s books, newspapers, TV animations, and murals.
During the past ten years, Campos has exhibited his Art and galleries and museums around the globe, including at the Polasek Museum in 2021, Winter Park, Florida; in 2020, he exhibited at the Historic French Salon in Paris, France, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for his unique artistic style and high technique. In 2005 Campos exhibited at the Bienalle Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea, in Florence, Italy. In addition, in June 2010, The Museum of the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Queen of the Universe in Orlando, Florida, hosted his solo show.

In 2012 Edson’s painting, Jardin d’arte, was awarded a Gold Medal at Salon D’Automne in Coubron, France. In 2017 he exhibited at the Saint Louis University Museum the “Return to Forever” Exhibition with his wife Kathleen Brodeur. Campos is exhibiting regularly at art shows and fairs around the globe, including at the latest Spectrum Miami during Art Basel week.
Most recently, Walt Disney Fine Art Program has granted permission to Edson to create Art based on Disney Princesses. The Artwork has been approved to be printed, and originals and prints are collected worldwide.
