Knokke Art Fair returns to Hotel La Réserve after 50 years

After exactly fifty years, a new chapter is beginning for Knokke Art Fair as it returns to the place where the story first began: Hotel La Réserve. From 14 to 16 August 2026, the boutique fair will once again take place during the traditional weekend of 15 August, which has been a fixture for decades within the Belgian art market and the summer collecting scene at the coast.

With this return, Knokke Art Fair is making a resolute choice for refinement. The fair is transforming into a boutique salon with renewed selection criteria and a sharper positioning within the international art landscape. The focus is shifting emphatically towards quality, expertise and presentation, with a carefully curated selection of international art dealers who exclusively exhibit works with a distinct artistic collectible value.

This evolution ties in with a tradition that has been deeply rooted in Flanders for generations: a culture of collecting characterized by knowledge, discretion and a lasting focus on quality. Knokke Art Fair consciously positions itself within that context as a high-caliber art fair that combines quality with a relaxed atmosphere by the sea.

The choice for Hotel La Réserve reflects this new positioning. The fair takes place in the recently renovated Silver Lake Hall, redesigned by architect Glenn Sestig. With its understated architecture and refined choice of materials, the space provides the setting for an edition in which presentation, tranquillity and an exclusive experience take center stage. Knokke Art Fair thus reaffirms its ambition to once again become a benchmark within the Belgian and international art scene, rooted in its history but resolutely focused on the future.
